Three Canadian jazz masters in a one-night-only performance: Jane Bunnett on flute and soprano saxophone, Reg Schwager on guitar and Neil Swainson on bass have represented Canada countless times on international stages. They are reuniting on a Toronto stage, together for the first time in decades.

Five-time JUNO Award winner Jane Bunnett has turned her bands and recordings into showcases for the finest musical talent from Canada, the US, and Cuba. She has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, received The Order of Canada, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and, most recently, The Premier’s Award for Excellence.

Reg Schwager is one of Canada’s most acclaimed jazz guitarists. Over the course of his 40-year career, he has played with such notable musicians as Peter Appleyard, Diana Krall, Mel Tormé, Chet Baker, Rob McConnell and Oliver Jones. Schwager was named Guitarist of the Year at the National Jazz Awards four years in a row (2005–08) and was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 2021.

Four-time Juno award-winning jazz bassist Neil Swainson was born and raised in the province of British Columbia, moving to his home base of Toronto in the late ‘70s. Over his career, he’s recorded on albums with George Shearing, Jay McShann, Walter Norris, and Woody Shaw and performed with Diana Krall, Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme, James Moody, Tommy Flanagan, Joe Williams, Lee Konitz and many others.
